Scholarship Details

The Elizabeth & Elijah Posey Davis Memorial Education Scholarship 501c3 organization,  proudly offers the Elizabeth & Elijah Posey Davis Memorial Scholarship to create a family legacy that honors our fore-parents and advance the education and success of their progeny for generations to come.

This scholarship offers support to students who are pursuing a trade or enrolled in higher education  at an accredited college or University.

Members of the Posey-Davis family through birth, marriage and/or adoption who are continuing their post high school education in an accredited college, university or trade school.

• Must be a member of the Posey/Davis family.

• Must be accepted and enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school

  • Provide proof of active enrollment/acceptance and GPA.

• Scholarships may be awarded more than once during a student’s academic career.

• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0

• Selection is based on family engagement merit, academic merit, and financial need.

• Commit to being actively involved in the Elizabeth & Eljah Posey Davis family.

  • Attend and engage in family reunions -with family and/or on your own when you are in adulthood.

    • Be willing to speak and share the impact of receiving the scholarship at family meetings or events.

  • Foster connections  with family members (Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, etc.)

• Completion of application and required essays as a part of the application process.
